An expanded meeting of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) took place in Kyiv, bringing together representatives of international organizations, government institutions, businesses, and educational establishments.
During the meeting, participants discussed a coordinated action plan aimed at rebuilding the construction sector, training qualified specialists, and creating new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.
Chairperson of the Board of the Business Development Fund, Andrii Hapon, presented the project “From Class to Work”, which bridges the gap between education and business to prepare skilled workers currently in high demand.
“Our mission is to give people the opportunity to gain a sought-after profession and to provide businesses with qualified and motivated employees. This is a concrete step toward rebuilding Ukraine’s economy,” emphasized Andrii Hapon.
The program helps address the workforce shortage in the construction industry by enabling companies to train employees for free according to their specific needs. Moreover, businesses receive €300 per participant to support their adaptation in the workplace.
