Energy Finance 2026

Energy Finance 2026 brought together more than 400 representatives of government, international organizations, financial institutions, energy companies, and businesses to discuss practical solutions for Ukraine’s energy resilience and recovery.

At the forum, Valerij Maiboroda highlighted the importance of supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in frontline regions where energy independence is critical to business continuity and economic resilience.

In partnership with the German Government and KfW, the National Development Institution is implementing programs that combine credit guarantees, grant mechanisms, and financing for energy-efficient solutions.

The discussion also focused on new instruments under the SME Resilience Facility, as well as the Energy Window and Municipality Window programs aimed at strengthening local energy generation and energy infrastructure across Ukraine.

According to Valerij Maiboroda, upcoming investment grants may cover up to 20% of project costs, encouraging businesses to invest in energy independence, modernization, and job creation.
